Auditors may trace transactions from a sub ledger to the general ledger, and follow the trail to the financial statements, to make sure transactions are being recorded properly in your Banner environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support your month end process, SIG has put together a short, but crucial checklist to handle your institution\u2019s AR reconciliation using Banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. <\/strong>Run TGRRCON daily in Reconciliation Mode. The TGRRCON report should be run after the nightly feed AR jobs stream (TGRFEED &gt; FURAPAY (Student Refunds) and FURFEED &gt; FGRTRNI\/FGRTRNR &gt; Posting or Incomplete Feed Document). Review the RECONCILIATION STATISTICS \u2013 ACCOUNT SUMMARY section of the report to review the ADJUSTED NET FED to G\/L BALANCE DIFFERENCES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>  Reconciliation Mode Parameters.  <u>No Miscellaneous Transactions<\/u> with Deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigcorp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Blog-Photo_1-335x82.png\" alt=\"AR Report\" class=\"wp-image-3935\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigcorp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/AR-Reconcile-Report-335x147.png\" alt=\"AR Reconcile Report\" class=\"wp-image-3949\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. <\/strong>Start a daily TGRRCON comparison spreadsheet to freeze the out of balance at a date so you can track daily changes that are easier to research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigcorp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Blog-Photo_2-335x109.png\" alt=\"TGRRCON Account\" class=\"wp-image-3936\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. <\/strong>React to any changes to the Adjusted Net Fed and G\/L Balance comparison in the RECONCILIATION STATISTICS \u2013 ACCOUNT SUMMARY section of TGRRCON.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. <\/strong>Research out of balance issues using AR Query TGIACCD and Finance Query FGIGLAC to reconcile the current feed documents from AR to Finance General Ledger (GL) DIFFERENCE column on TGRRCON.
