Founded in 1902, the university undergraduate serves traditional students, adult students, graduate students, and dual enrollment high school students through its post-secondary education option (PSEO). A post baccalaureate nursing program is also offered. The university also owns a series of radio stations and offer classes through a campus in Sioux Falls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-challenge\">Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"h-institutional-profile-1\">The university had been using several systems to track a variety of populations from potential students to admitted students at various levels including dual enrollment, undergraduate and graduate. Different information was gathered and housed in various departments throughout the university, which made the processing of student information inefficient and often out of date. The university needed an efficient way to gather and sort data on a wide range of groups depending on where the students were in the application or matriculation process and share inquires across the various populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-solution\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SIG conducted a thorough analysis of the current business procedures and built and developed the following while providing strong knowledge transfer to staff:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New efficient streamlined processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developed a single inquiry form to manage all populations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dual Enrollment Application that included counselor and parent approvals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cross training for staff and marketing personnel, working together to promote all programs at the undergraduate level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-results-amp-impact\">Results &amp; Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project eliminated the inconsistent data issues that were occurring<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now UNWSP can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create new automated workflows that freed up staff time to engage more with students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share knowledge across multiple teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-sig-can-help\">How SIG Can Help<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SIG offers implementation and consultation services that help clients use the full capabilities of the Slate system.
